Join the Woodridge Sprint Meet on Sunday, August 9th!
The Sprint Meet is a fun Meet for swimmers of all ages!
Swimmers compete in 25-yard sprints in the fly, breast, back, & free. The top three best scores in each age group win a medal!
FREE ICE CREAM after the meet and a Food Truck available with food to purchase.
All are welcome to participate, members and non-members!
About the 2026 Sprint Meet
Join us for the Woodridge Sprint Meet!
About the Sprint Meet:
- Participants will swim four 25-yard heats, one of each stroke (fly, breast, back, and free).
- NEW THIS YEAR - Exhibition Diving event!
- The four race times will be added together for a cumulative score. Award medals will be presented to the three fastest finishers in each age group.
- Meet begins at 6:00. The event will have youth age groups as well as groups for adults 19-39 and 40+. Parents and coaches are encouraged to enter. Event is open to anyone of any age; non-members invited!
- A $10 entry fee is required per swimmer. (Please pay below)
- Warm-ups will begin at 5:00pm on race day; the Meet will begin at 6:00pm.
- Pre-registration is required. Volunteering required as part of family participation.
- No registrations can be added the day of the meet.
Participant Requirements:
- Must have passed the WSC Swim Test prior to registration
- Must fill out a liability waiver to register (yes, even Members!)
The fun stuff:
- The award ceremony and FREE ICE CREAM SOCIAL will follow the meet.
- During the meet we will have a Food Truck available with food to purchase.

To pull off this event we need volunteers! Every family signing up also needs to sign up for a volunteer role.
