Frequently Asked Questions

A: Thanks for your interest in our wonderful community! Our pool is open seasonally to members, generally from around Mother’s Day in May through weekends in September. During member hours, we offer general free swimming, always with the option to rope off Lane 6 for (shared) lap swimming. When the pool is closed, we use the time for our swim lessons, let the swim and dive teams practice and hold meets, and rent space to school teams and community swim clubs.

A: We post our pool hours on this page. Check it out!  Also, this page lists the dates when we close early due to hosting swim meets.

A: For members, Woodridge Swim Club offers: 

• Beautiful six-lane, 25 yard pool with deep end and diving board
• 1-foot kiddie pool for the littles
• Discounted swim lessons with priority sign-up 
• Opportunity to join our fun swim team 
• Opportunity to join our new dive team and have priority sign-up in dive camps 
• Free Barbecue use, free wi-fi, party booking ($), and the ability to invite guests ($5 per guest) 
• Concessions available for purchase 
• Showers, locker rooms, lap lanes, and a lovely pool deck for enjoying the sunshine
• Social events such as swim-in movies, potlucks, parties, and more! You won't want to miss out on the fun!

A: For new members or past members whose continuous membership lapsed without purchasing an Inactive Membership, there is a $200 initiation fee + annual dues of $815.   

For returning members (meaning you had an Active/Family  membership in 2025, or paid for an Inactive membership in 2025), the annual dues for 2026 are $815. 

If you choose to put your Membership on hold, you can pay $155 for an Inactive Membership, which holds your place in our membership files, but you will not have swimming privileges. 

A: Sometimes families may choose not to have a family membership, but may have a child in the family who is 13 - 18 years old who would still like to participate in one of our Teams.

Junior Team Membership = A child 13-18 years old may pay to join one of our Teams and they will have free swim privileges and can visit the pool all summer for free swim.

A: For members, once you have received your membership confirmation, you may sign up for swim lessons at the discounted, members-only rate. Click button below to register.  

For non-members, you may sign up for swim lessons at the regular rates  by clicking the button below. 

A: Our Woodridge swim team is open only to members in good standing of Woodridge Swim Club. You MUST join the pool before signing up for swim team. 

A: Yes. We cap our membership at about 225 families. Visit our membership page for more information.  If we are full, we will create a waitlist. 

A: In the past we have offered a half-season membership beginning mid-July. Check back at the beginning of July for more information.  

A: For our Swim Lessons, a 50% Refund is available if requested and confirmed within the two weeks prior to the beginning of the Session, Activity, or Class. 

No Refunds will be issued starting from the day a Session, Activity, or Class is scheduled to begin.

A: The following are the conditions a Nanny can be added to a membership:

• WSC allows members to add a substitute caregiver or 'nanny' to be added Active Family memberships at no charge  
• Nanny should be added into PoolPass, and the 'Patron relationship to the 1st person' needs to be specified as 'Nanny'
• Nanny may only be admitted to the pool when with other membership patrons, i.e. with the kid(s). 
• Nanny will not be admitted without any other member present, and are not allowed to bring guests.  
• Nannies must be at least 13 years old.  
• Only one Nanny can be added to a single Active Family membership.    
• WSC has the right to revoke Nanny patron status

A: Lap swimming is available during any Open Swim time.

• All swimmers must be willing to share a lap lane when requested by another swimmer.
• It is the member’s responsibility to confirm with all swimmers in the lane before joining and ask if they want to split the lane or swim circles. The swimmer already in the pool decides on splitting or circle swimming.
• If three or more swimmers are in the lane, circle swim is required. 
• A second lane can be requested (ask a lifeguard).  There may be times when a second lane is not feasible due to pool capacity.
• Private lessons may impact lap swimming, at the discretion of the lesson instructor.  Please work with private lesson instructors to ensure all can enjoy their time at the pool.  If a lesson is in progress, please request a second lane line to be added to avoid disrupting private lessons.
