Woodridge Swim Club has been a thriving community since 1961, bringing members together for summer fun, connection, and lasting memories.
What started as a neighborhood pool has grown into a welcoming space where friends and families gather year after year.

As General Manager of WSC, I’m excited to return to a community that has been part of my life since childhood, when I swam on the WSC swim team. I recently graduated from Western Washington University, where I studied Critical Justice, Psychology, and Political Science. During my time at WWU I earned a National Championship as a DII Collegiate Rower and played DII Water Polo.
For the past 8 years, I’ve taught swim lessons and managed aquatic facilities with a personal emphasis on supporting swimmers with learning disabilities and autistic swimmers, using recreation a tool for accessibility and connection. As my grandparents live in Woodridge, I’m grateful for the opportunity to be closer to home while helping strengthen WSC and enhance the member experience.

Returning as Head Guard after working at WSC last summer, I’m so excited to be back at the pool this season. I’ve spent the past 13 summers at WSC, including 10 years on Swim Team, 3 years on Dive Team, and I was part of the inaugural Water Polo team last summer.

I graduated from International School in Bellevue and recently completed my first year at Vassar College, where I study Women’s, Feminist, and Queer Studies. Outside the pool, I love spending time with my dog, being in the sun or water, baking and cooking, searching for shells at the beach, bedazzling just about anything, and trying new restaurants. I can’t wait for another fun summer at WSC!

I am looking forward to return to my previous role of Swim Lesson Coordinator this season! I’ve spent most of my life in and around the water as a competitive swimmer for over 10 years For the past 8+ years I’ve been both lifeguarding and teaching swim lessons.

I love helping swimmers of all ages feel more confident in the water—whether it’s their very first lesson or they’re working on perfecting their strokes. My goal is to keep lessons fun, supportive, and safe while helping each swimmer grow at their own pace.

He and his family — wife Kim and daughters Sia and Lilia — value the strong sense of community the pool creates and the opportunities it provides for friendship, learning, and summer fun. Around the pool, you’ll often find Adam announcing swim meets, supporting water polo practices, and occasionally making a dive off the diving board himself.

Lori was a Woodridge Warrior swimmer and diver from 1979-1986. Her three daughters joined a generation later as Warriors from 2008-2014. Lori's parents, Roger and Diane McRea, were pool board members as well. It is a pleasure for her to be "back" on the hill and working behind the scenes as so many WSC parents have done over the past 65 years since the pool was founded!

James joined the Woodridge Swim Club Board as Treasurer in 2025 and enjoys contributing to a place that has become an important part of the community for his family.
